Tension! Tension! Tension!

I think it has been quite sometimes since my last posted blog. Since I'm not in the good mood, this blog will be in Bahasa Malaysia.

Tension! Aku tension!!! Banyak benda buat aku tension sebenarnya. Especially kat office aku ni ler. Korang semua pun tahukan, aku ni susah ler nak terasa atau nak marah tak tentu pasal. Actually aku ni tengah nak tahan rasa nak campak benda dekat orang. So, baik ler aku luahkan perasaan aku dekat sini dari ada yang kena baling benda dengan aku.

Kerja is kerja ler... kalau tension pun jangan ler nak lepaskan dekat orang lain. Ingat orang lain tak boleh nak tension. Cakap jer la elok-elok... yang paling tak tahan, depan orang punya ler baik dan cakap pun manis tapi belakang orang tu mengutuk punya ler best. EHHhggg... sakit hati aku dibuatnyer.

Actually, before this blog being publish, my tension has sweep away. Alhamdulillah. Tak jadi baling barang... Alhamdulillah dah nak start cuti for Hari Raya Aidil Adha. So, I'll take this opportunity to apologies to all of you and wish you all Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Adha.

Thank you to all by friends cause being so understanding.

Breakfast @ Terrace Cafe, Marriott Putrajaya

It was a last minute breakfast invitation. My colleague's consultant invite for breakfast at Marriott Putrajaya. The food was variety... but what is the most special was the grilled lamb and the fresh oyster with lemon... yummy yummy. There were delicious rojak buah, sotong kangkong, grease less roti boom, winter melon & seafood soup served with crusty bread and many more...

Seated between Kak Yusnita (in the picture) and Maruan's wife, i've enjoyed the dinner very very much until my stomach was cramp. I even can't laugh and eat anymore. There were also a celebrity at the Terrace Cafe... a singer, Anuar Zain which was now popular with song title Lelaki Ini. He was having dinner with another man and two beautiful ladies.

Eventually, he walk across our table which located near the desert bar... Kak Yus (which was Anuar Zain's fan) when directly to him to take photo wif her... and of course he agreed. Since I'm the photographer, I also took the opportunity to have photo wif him. So, you could see the photo there..... :) Ita and Yatie also have their photo wif Anuar Zain that night. After a while, other diners also have their photo wif him... but he kept smiling. That made him an artist!!!

If you like Anuar Zain - Lelaki Ini, you could also hear the song here.

Gossip Girl

If you like to watch the O.C.... you would much like this new serial drama Gossip Girl. This story was based on a privileged prep school teens on Manhattan's Upper East Side learn all the important news in their lives -- from the blog of the all knowing albeit ultra-secretive Gossip Girl. No one knows Gossip Girl's identity, but everyone in this exclusive and complicated vicious circle relies on her website and text messages for the latest scoop. Keeping track of the shifting friendships, jealousies and turmoil in this wealthy and complex world isn't easy, but it's what Gossip Girl does best. This story was filmed in New York and based on the popular series of young-adult novels by Cecily von Ziegesar.

I came across this drama... while browsing Lee's server (Man's brother) for some entertainment and there was Gossip Girl 101. I only viewed the first episode and can't wait to see more... or maybe i even buy the novels.... ekekekek.

So... you all can also view the trailer here and i hope you all enjoy it.

Pass It On

A good story to remember...... true story or fiction, it's still lovely to feel that miracle and magic are around somewhere....

The story began....

He was tired and aching and on his way home from a long day at work, so he almost didn't see the old lady stranded on the side of the road, but even in the dim light of day he could see she needed help. So he pulled up in front of her Mercedes and got out. His old Pontiac
Even with the smile on his face, she was worried. No one had stopped to help for the last hour or so. Was he going to hurt her? He didn't look safe; he looked poor and hungry.

He could see that she was frightened, standing out there in the cold. He knew how she felt. It was that chill which only fear can put in you. He said, "I'm here to help you, ma'am. Why don't you wait in the car where it's warm? By the way, my name is Bryan Anderson."

Well, all she had was a flat tire, but for an old lady, that was bad enough. Bryan crawled under the car looking for a place to put the jack, skinning his knuckles a time or two. Soon he was able to change the tire.

As he was tightening up the lug nuts, she rolled down the window and began to talk to him. She told him that she was from St. Louis and was only just passing through. She couldn't thank him enough for coming to her aid.

Bryan just smiled as he closed her trunk. The lady asked how much she owed him. Any amount would have been all right with her. She already imagined all the awful things that could have happened had he not stopped. Bryan never thought twice about being paid. This was not a job to him. This was helping someone in need, and God knows there were plenty, who had given him a hand in the past. He had lived his whole life that way, and it never occurred to him to act any other way.

He told her that if she really wanted to pay him back, the next time she saw someone who needed help, she could give that person the assistance they needed, and Bryan added, "Pass it on."

He waited until she started her car and drove off. It had been a cold and depressing day, but he felt good as he headed for home, disappearing into the twilight.

A few miles down the road the lady saw a small cafe. She went in to grab a bite to eat, and take the chill off before she made the last leg of her trip home. It was a dingy looking restaurant. Outside were two old gas pumps. The whole scene was unfamiliar to her. The waitress came over and brought a clean towel to wipe her wet hair. She had a sweet smile, one that even being on her feet for the whole day couldn't erase. The lady noticed the waitress was nearly eight months pregnant, but she never let the strain and aches change her attitude. The old lady wondered how someone who had so little could be so giving to a stranger. Then she remembered Bryan ..

After the lady finished her meal, she paid with a hundred dollar bill. The waitress quickly went to get change for her hundred dollar bill, but the old lady had slipped right out the door. She was gone by the time the waitress came back. The waitress wondered where the lady could be. Then she noticed something written on the napkin.

There were tears in her eyes when she read what the lady wrote: "This isn't a tip, it's a gift. You don't owe me anything. Somebody once helped me out and if you feel you want to pay me back, don't let this chain of love end with you, pass it on."

Under the napkin were four more $100 bills. Well, there were tables to clear, sugar bowls to fill, and people to serve, but the waitress made it to closing time. was still sputtering as he approached her.

That night when she got home from work and climbed into bed, she was thinking about the money and what the lady had written. How could the lady have known how much she and her husband needed it? With the baby due next month, it was going to be hard....

She knew how worried her husband was, and as he lay sleeping next to her, she gave him a gentle kiss and whispered soft and low, "Everything's going to be all right. I love you, Bryan Anderson."

There is an old saying "What goes around comes around." Today I post you all this story and let this light keep shining.

Good friends are like stars....You don't always see them, but you know they are always there.

Match Me If You Can by Susan Elizabeth Phillips

It has been years since we start reading Judith McNaught's novel. It all started with Whitney My Love, Paradise, Until You, Night Whisper, Double Standard, Perfect, A Kingdom of Heaven, Someone To Watch Over Me and etc. I've been waiting for the latest novel by Judith McNaught.... titled The Edge, but until now I still can't find the book.

Last month, on my way to airport terminal gate... I've passed by a bookshop and there were books promotion (buy two or more books, get 15% discount). First of all, I've tried to find the Judith McNaught, The Edge... but I can't find it. So, I've saw this novel by Susan Elizabeth Phillips title Match Me If You Can, so I decided to buy it with another one title Kiss of Angel.

Match Me If You Can was a wonderful story and I suggest you all to try this novel and maybe try other novel by this same author. It was a romantic love story plus some comedy and less sexual interpretation or elaboration ... ekekekekekek, can be considered as U not 18sx. Right now, I've already got three novels by the author. I hope I could collect all novel by Susan Elizabeth Phillips... but surely it will takes sometimes as many things I want in life.... money concern.... ekekekekek.

To all my friends, if any of you have read any other author that have lighten your day... maybe you can recommend it to me... Enjoy reading!

The Apartment @ Ground Floor, Western Courtyard, The Curve

I and Ms Dils went to The Apartment on the day of Insyarah's birthday party. The interior design of the restaurant was different compared to others. The interior design more represent an apartment concept with toilet and shower as wall deco, dining table and chair for dining but we've picked the one with daybed and table. It was so comfy... and there were also wi-fi there, it felt like 'lepaking' at one of your friend's house.

The food was good. Tasteful and decorated beautifully. We also tried the Wondermilk Cuppacakes. As you all knew, the decoration of the cupcakes absolutely gorgeous...but it was too sweet for me and the cakes are in small portion compared to the decoration icing and plus it was pricey for a cupcakes... around RM 16 for 4 cupcakes. However, you all can still buy the cupcakes if you like something sweet like that. The food at The Apartment are worth a try.

Later that day, we went for Insyirah's birthday party with Ms Azida too and meet up with Mrs Izwanee and her hubby and chubby cutie little Sofea at Mrs Saybah's house. (Pictured with Baby Sofea to highlight and enhance this blog .... soooo cute!!!)

My Yahoo.Mail

Yesterday, during clearing my yahoo mail inbox which contain around 400 plus email, i came across an email by my coursemate during univerity. Actually it was a touching love story and i would like to share with all of you....(and maybe you've came across this story before)...

The Salty Coffee

He met her at a party. She was so outstanding, had many guys chasing after her, while he was so normal, nobody paid attention to him. At the end of the party, he invited her to have coffee with him. She was surprised but due to politeness, she agreed.

They sat in a nice coffee shop, he was too nervous to say anything; she felt uncomfortable, she thought, "Please let me be back home..." Suddenly he asked the waiter, "Would you please give me some salt? I'd like to put it in my coffee."
Everybody stared at him, it was so strange! His face turned red but still, he put the salt in his coffee and drank it.

She asked him curiously, "Why do you have this preference?" He replied, "When I was a little boy, I lived near the sea. I like playing in the sea, I'd feel the taste of the sea, salty and bitter, just like the taste of the salty coffee. Now every time I have the salty coffee, I will think of my childhood, think of my hometown. I miss my hometown so much; I miss my parents who are still living there."

While saying that, tears started to fill his eyes. She was deeply touched. That's his true feelings, from the bottom of his heart.

"A man who can say out his homesickness, he must be a man who loves home, cares about home, has responsibility for home," she thought to herself.

Then she also started to talk about her faraway hometown, her childhood, her family. That was a really nice talk, also a beautiful beginning of their story.

They continued to date. She found out that actually, he was a man who could meet all her demands: he was tolerant, kind-hearted, warm and careful. He was such a good guy but she almost missed him! But thanks to his salty coffee, she had the opportunity to know him.

Then the story was just like any other beautiful love story: the Princess got married to the Prince and they lived happily ever after. And, everytime she made coffee for him, she would put some salt in the coffee, as she knew that's the way he liked it.

After 40 years, he passed away, left her a letter which said:

"My dearest, please forgive me, forgive my whole life lie. This was the only lie I said to you, the salty coffee. Remember the first time we dated? I was so nervous at that time, actually I wanted some sugar, but I said salt...

It's hard for me to change so I just went ahead. I never thought that could be the start of our communication! I tried to tell you the truth many times in my life but I was too afraid to do that, as I've promised not to lie to you for anything...

Now that I'm dying, I am afraid of nothing so I tell you the truth: I don't like the salty coffee, what a strange bad taste...

But I have the salty coffee for my whole life since I knew you, I never felt sorry for anything I do for you. Having you with me is my biggest happiness of my whole life. If I can live for the second time, I still want to know you and have you as my whole life partner, my dear wife, even if I have to drink the salty coffee again."

Her tears made the letter totally wet.

One day, someone asked her, "What's the taste of salty coffee?"

"It's sweet," she replied.

The moral of the story:

* The moral of this story... Don't judge a person from their appearance. Get to know a person before you judge them... 'Tak kenal, maka tak cinta'. It maybe turn up to be a good thing in your life and maybe not.

Ezan's Garage Sales

Thanx to Ezan, she got so many clothes that all of us could share pieces of it (especially Azida, Diela and Farah)...and for me, I’ve got only two pieces as you all knew the increase of fats....ekekekekek and weight and another piece of F.O.C. item....a leopard printed scarf.

Who have more clothes than Ezan? When I walk through the room and found my other three bestfriends were already covered with four boxes of t-shirts, shirts, jeans, pants, baju kurungs and other F.O.C. items....I’ve started to say ‘WOW’. That’s why Ezan has to organize the garage sale. How she’s going to store all that in her new pretty condo.

In the middle of chit-chat and finalized the items, Miss Little Cutie Sofea awake and there she is playing with all mommies things. We discovered that she likes handbags....what a coincidence with her mommies. She has so many bags to inherit (ekekekek). That’s mean, no handbag’s garage sale friends. Just kidding....Ezan (but if you decide to have one, hope ME still in the V.I.P. list).

Dewa - Dewi

Fidelity? Infidelity? This song Dewi by Dewa was a song dedicated to Maiya by Ahmad Dhani (I think... may be coz of gossip between Ahmad Dhani & Mulan). Bak kata pepatah "Pokok Takkan Bergoyang Kalau Angin Tak Bertiup". It's very easy for a man to ask for forgiveness, just by making a hit love song for beloved wife to felt the sincere of the husband? Could any of you forgive your partner for infidelity? We will always said that we can't forgive them, but why thousand of women which has experience infidelity of their partner and still stick with them? And I think not one of us could answer it. Hopefully we don't have to experience it?

However, I still love all song by Dewa. I hope that it just a gossip between Ahmad Dhani & Mulan. I love this song... hope you all enjoy it.

Dewa 19 - Dewi
dewi aku mohon beri kesempatan
tuk bisa menebus dosaku kepadamu
maafkanlah aku yg menyakitimu
aku tidak pernah menyangka bisa begini

oh dewi, dengarkanlah

reff:
dewi, kaulah hidupku
aku cinta padamu sampai mati
dewi, belahlah dadaku
agar kau tahu, agar kau mengerti

semua terjadi begitu saja
tak ada yg serius antara dia dan aku
tidak ada cinta dan tidak ada hati
hanya karena aku lelaki dan dia wanita

oh dewi, dengarkanlah

repeat reff

Cupcakes & Fruit Tartlets

Saturday, 19 May 2007 @ Wanie's House... "Lepak-lepaking" with friends, Ms Azida & Ms Dils(Since Ms Farah and Mrs Izwanee has other things to attend). I've enjoy the "Lepak-lepaking" so much and I hope we could do it again (hope both of you also enjoyed it). The three of us have a join baking adventure.... ekekekek... we baked vanilla cupcakes and fruit tartlets.

I've already brought the ingredients for the cupcakes and the fruit tartlets except the fruits for the tartlets. So before arrival of Ms Azida, Ms Dils and I went to the Jaya Jusco to buy the peaches and strawberries. We thought of buying kiwi, but they sold the kiwi in packet... it will be a waste... coz we just need 2 or 3's kiwi.

We waited for Ms Azida for about 15 minutes... if I'm not mistaken. Once she's arrived, we started to measure all the ingredients. Ms Dils happened to be the one in charge for the mixing of cupcakes ingredients and Ms Azida for the baking session. While myself preparing the crust for the tartlets.

So the outcome of the cupcakes as Ms Farah received (I think you already received and hope you enjoy it). Every batch of baking the cupcakes, there always 'ugly duckling'... but all goes into the mouth to our stomach. The 'ugly duckling' was not Ms Azida's fault but it's the oven fault.... coz of uneven heat in the oven (it just a small oven).

After mixing the ingredients for the crust (become like breadcrumb), we've roll the dough and line the tins and refrigerate for 30 minutes and then baked for another 12 minutes. The most adventurous was to decorate the fruits on top the custard filling. Ms Dils actually has talent in food deco. Then we refrigerate the fruit tartlets to chilled.

We have chit & chat... and have rose tea and fruit tartlets for evening's tea. After the pleasant tea, we pack our things and 'tapau' leftover food and when straight home. Thanks to Ms Dils and Ms Azida for the great "Lepak-lepaking" day.
