Breakfast @ Terrace Cafe, Marriott Putrajaya

It was a last minute breakfast invitation. My colleague's consultant invite for breakfast at Marriott Putrajaya. The food was variety... but what is the most special was the grilled lamb and the fresh oyster with lemon... yummy yummy. There were delicious rojak buah, sotong kangkong, grease less roti boom, winter melon & seafood soup served with crusty bread and many more...

Seated between Kak Yusnita (in the picture) and Maruan's wife, i've enjoyed the dinner very very much until my stomach was cramp. I even can't laugh and eat anymore. There were also a celebrity at the Terrace Cafe... a singer, Anuar Zain which was now popular with song title Lelaki Ini. He was having dinner with another man and two beautiful ladies.

Eventually, he walk across our table which located near the desert bar... Kak Yus (which was Anuar Zain's fan) when directly to him to take photo wif her... and of course he agreed. Since I'm the photographer, I also took the opportunity to have photo wif him. So, you could see the photo there..... :) Ita and Yatie also have their photo wif Anuar Zain that night. After a while, other diners also have their photo wif him... but he kept smiling. That made him an artist!!!

If you like Anuar Zain - Lelaki Ini, you could also hear the song here.

Gossip Girl

If you like to watch the O.C.... you would much like this new serial drama Gossip Girl. This story was based on a privileged prep school teens on Manhattan's Upper East Side learn all the important news in their lives -- from the blog of the all knowing albeit ultra-secretive Gossip Girl. No one knows Gossip Girl's identity, but everyone in this exclusive and complicated vicious circle relies on her website and text messages for the latest scoop. Keeping track of the shifting friendships, jealousies and turmoil in this wealthy and complex world isn't easy, but it's what Gossip Girl does best. This story was filmed in New York and based on the popular series of young-adult novels by Cecily von Ziegesar.

I came across this drama... while browsing Lee's server (Man's brother) for some entertainment and there was Gossip Girl 101. I only viewed the first episode and can't wait to see more... or maybe i even buy the novels.... ekekekek.

So... you all can also view the trailer here and i hope you all enjoy it.

Pass It On

A good story to remember...... true story or fiction, it's still lovely to feel that miracle and magic are around somewhere....

The story began....

He was tired and aching and on his way home from a long day at work, so he almost didn't see the old lady stranded on the side of the road, but even in the dim light of day he could see she needed help. So he pulled up in front of her Mercedes and got out. His old Pontiac
Even with the smile on his face, she was worried. No one had stopped to help for the last hour or so. Was he going to hurt her? He didn't look safe; he looked poor and hungry.

He could see that she was frightened, standing out there in the cold. He knew how she felt. It was that chill which only fear can put in you. He said, "I'm here to help you, ma'am. Why don't you wait in the car where it's warm? By the way, my name is Bryan Anderson."

Well, all she had was a flat tire, but for an old lady, that was bad enough. Bryan crawled under the car looking for a place to put the jack, skinning his knuckles a time or two. Soon he was able to change the tire.

As he was tightening up the lug nuts, she rolled down the window and began to talk to him. She told him that she was from St. Louis and was only just passing through. She couldn't thank him enough for coming to her aid.

Bryan just smiled as he closed her trunk. The lady asked how much she owed him. Any amount would have been all right with her. She already imagined all the awful things that could have happened had he not stopped. Bryan never thought twice about being paid. This was not a job to him. This was helping someone in need, and God knows there were plenty, who had given him a hand in the past. He had lived his whole life that way, and it never occurred to him to act any other way.

He told her that if she really wanted to pay him back, the next time she saw someone who needed help, she could give that person the assistance they needed, and Bryan added, "Pass it on."

He waited until she started her car and drove off. It had been a cold and depressing day, but he felt good as he headed for home, disappearing into the twilight.

A few miles down the road the lady saw a small cafe. She went in to grab a bite to eat, and take the chill off before she made the last leg of her trip home. It was a dingy looking restaurant. Outside were two old gas pumps. The whole scene was unfamiliar to her. The waitress came over and brought a clean towel to wipe her wet hair. She had a sweet smile, one that even being on her feet for the whole day couldn't erase. The lady noticed the waitress was nearly eight months pregnant, but she never let the strain and aches change her attitude. The old lady wondered how someone who had so little could be so giving to a stranger. Then she remembered Bryan ..

After the lady finished her meal, she paid with a hundred dollar bill. The waitress quickly went to get change for her hundred dollar bill, but the old lady had slipped right out the door. She was gone by the time the waitress came back. The waitress wondered where the lady could be. Then she noticed something written on the napkin.

There were tears in her eyes when she read what the lady wrote: "This isn't a tip, it's a gift. You don't owe me anything. Somebody once helped me out and if you feel you want to pay me back, don't let this chain of love end with you, pass it on."

Under the napkin were four more $100 bills. Well, there were tables to clear, sugar bowls to fill, and people to serve, but the waitress made it to closing time. was still sputtering as he approached her.

That night when she got home from work and climbed into bed, she was thinking about the money and what the lady had written. How could the lady have known how much she and her husband needed it? With the baby due next month, it was going to be hard....

She knew how worried her husband was, and as he lay sleeping next to her, she gave him a gentle kiss and whispered soft and low, "Everything's going to be all right. I love you, Bryan Anderson."

There is an old saying "What goes around comes around." Today I post you all this story and let this light keep shining.

Good friends are like stars....You don't always see them, but you know they are always there.

Match Me If You Can by Susan Elizabeth Phillips

It has been years since we start reading Judith McNaught's novel. It all started with Whitney My Love, Paradise, Until You, Night Whisper, Double Standard, Perfect, A Kingdom of Heaven, Someone To Watch Over Me and etc. I've been waiting for the latest novel by Judith McNaught.... titled The Edge, but until now I still can't find the book.

Last month, on my way to airport terminal gate... I've passed by a bookshop and there were books promotion (buy two or more books, get 15% discount). First of all, I've tried to find the Judith McNaught, The Edge... but I can't find it. So, I've saw this novel by Susan Elizabeth Phillips title Match Me If You Can, so I decided to buy it with another one title Kiss of Angel.

Match Me If You Can was a wonderful story and I suggest you all to try this novel and maybe try other novel by this same author. It was a romantic love story plus some comedy and less sexual interpretation or elaboration ... ekekekekekek, can be considered as U not 18sx. Right now, I've already got three novels by the author. I hope I could collect all novel by Susan Elizabeth Phillips... but surely it will takes sometimes as many things I want in life.... money concern.... ekekekekek.

To all my friends, if any of you have read any other author that have lighten your day... maybe you can recommend it to me... Enjoy reading!

The Apartment @ Ground Floor, Western Courtyard, The Curve

I and Ms Dils went to The Apartment on the day of Insyarah's birthday party. The interior design of the restaurant was different compared to others. The interior design more represent an apartment concept with toilet and shower as wall deco, dining table and chair for dining but we've picked the one with daybed and table. It was so comfy... and there were also wi-fi there, it felt like 'lepaking' at one of your friend's house.

The food was good. Tasteful and decorated beautifully. We also tried the Wondermilk Cuppacakes. As you all knew, the decoration of the cupcakes absolutely gorgeous...but it was too sweet for me and the cakes are in small portion compared to the decoration icing and plus it was pricey for a cupcakes... around RM 16 for 4 cupcakes. However, you all can still buy the cupcakes if you like something sweet like that. The food at The Apartment are worth a try.

Later that day, we went for Insyirah's birthday party with Ms Azida too and meet up with Mrs Izwanee and her hubby and chubby cutie little Sofea at Mrs Saybah's house. (Pictured with Baby Sofea to highlight and enhance this blog .... soooo cute!!!)
