The Winner Of American Idol Season 7 Is...

I was so frustrated yesterday after the final performance because I thought that David Achuleta will be the winner for American Idol Season 7. What a relieved! David Cook won the American Idol Season 7. David Cook was declared the winner of American Idol Season 7 by receiving 56% of the votes and beating David Archuleta by 12 million votes.

Actually I haven't seen the results yet, I just saw the news in the internet. Only tonight I will be able to view it by myself. I can't wait to see Simon Cowell apologize to David Cook on his comment to David Cook. David Cook must be something!!!

I never watch the full episodes of American Idol before. This season change everything. I never missed even one episode. All because of David Cook.

The final performance, David Cook performed three song.

I can't wait to hear David Cook's single Time of My Life.

David Cook's ROCK! He can sing any genre. He can play guitar very well. He was so fabulous. Nothing can describe David Cook.... He is the AMERICAN IDOL!!!!

The Question Is... A or C ?

If the question was base on academic result... of course we choose A, no question about it. But when it comes to American Idol Season 7... who will be the winner... A or C ? Archuleta or Cook?

As Simon Cowell commented that David Cook can win this whole competition if this (American Idol) competition is all about TALENT and not a POPULARITY. David Cook definitely has bigger talent compare to David Archuleta. David Cook's vocals are strong and versatile, he can sing anything. (loved Always Be My Baby)

David Archuleta on the other hand is stuck in the ballad mode. When he tries to sing anything other than ballad, he just flop. However, he is a cute boy and loved by younger age girls... he still can gain vote from those group...

I really really hope David Cook will be the next American Idol.... So...we have to see by ourselves next week....

Meringue

I heard from Ms. Azida that she, Ms. Dils and Mrs. Izwanee will gather for cooking feast at Mrs. Izwanee 's condo. They were planning to tryout the PAVLOVA.... yummy yummy.
Coincidently, I've just tried the Nigella Lawson's Express Recipe... Mini Meringue with Ice Cream & Peach. Ms. Azida think that the pavlova's ingredients were more complicated (not complicated...more ingredient) than the mini meringue recipe by Nigella. This is the mini meringue simple ingredients and simple method.

Beat 4 eggs' white with a pinch of salt using mixer (and you may add vanilla essence). Add 1 cup of castor sugar and beat again until stiff. Scoop and place on a tin lined with baking sheet. Bake at 100 - 120 degree celcius for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

The photo just for illustration. I just scoop with a teaspoon... but if you want it to look alike those photo, you have to use piping bag, etc. in order to achieve that beautiful meringue. For pavlova, just scoop it.

So, hope Ms. Azida, Ms. Dils and Mrs. Izwanee enjoy their cooking feast.

American Idols Season 7 : David Cook

DAVID COOK. I've started to love him since the audition for the American Idols Season 7. I haven't got the chance to view the lived American Idol when David Cook sang Billie Jean since I'm holidaying in Bangkok.

Immediately after I arrived at Malaysia and picked up by Man at the airport, I asked him how's David Cook's performance for that week. Man told me that he sang Billie Jean (popular by Michael Jackson) in rock version a.k.a Chris Cornell's version. I started to wonder who is Chris Cornell? I knew Audioslave but I'm not familiar with the band singer.

Man also told me that Chris Cornell's fans were furious with David Cook because he didn't admit that he sang the Chris Cornell's version but still all three judges praise him highly. So, I'm quite down with the news because I knew David Cook was a great singer... even I can't sing myself.

So, yesterday I've saw the show downloaded by Lee (my brother-in-law) and Ryan Seacrest has announced clearly that David Cook will performed Chris Cornell's version of Billie Jean before he performed. For Chris Cornell's fans out there, you all don't have to be furious on the matter since it's all clear that David Cook acknowledged that it was Chris Cornell's version.

I've listened and compared between Chris Cornell and David Cook, I think I loved the David Cook's version more.... even Chris Cornell think that David Cook followed his arrangement down to the T, including the most subtle vocal nuances (Chris Cornell's comments). I think he did a great job singing that song than Chris Cornell. (not that I don't like the Audioslave...I liked their song especially Like A Stone)

MPH Bookstore Sales

Saturday, 1 March 2008. I when to One Utama with Mrs. Izwanee and Princess Sofea. The main target was to hangout and shops for books. I've loved the MPH Bookstore Sales... they offer 15% for member, and if I when there 2 days earlier the discount was 20%.

However, I thought of buying books by Susan Elizabeth Phillips, but there only left one title that I've never owned and read before.... Heaven Texas. So, I grabbed that book.... I always thought that not so many readers interested in Susan Elizabeth Phillips because when I've mentioned that her name...they don't recognize or read her books before.

Then I saw this one book by Jude Deveraux and Judith McNaught....Simple Gifts, there were four short stories in a book. Since Judith McNaught was one of my favorite author, I bought the book.

I never read any book by Jude Deveraux.... but after i read two short stories the Simple Gifts, I think I like the story line and her story wasn't boring... I felt happy by reading her stories. Just Curious and Change of Heart. I yet to read the portion by Judith McNaught... but as always I'll be satisfied reading it.

And the new Heaven Texas... till I have to go outstation to Sabah, it will be my companion.

I'm So Tired

I just don't know how to describe my feeling right now. I'm so tired of working. I think I'm in the highest stress level right now. The works never finish...never ending works!!!

There were so much work...so much to do! I just don't know to start with what???? All is important. Nothing is less important...with the working situation of... Wanie, what is this? Wanie, how was the thing? Wanie, what is the status? Wanie, please call Mr.X to confirm this and that.

Why must everything me? Can't you just do it yourself....What actually do you do???? I'm tired and bored with this PBLT's working environment....Argghhh!!!! Tension!!!!
